Welcome to Poshmark! Congratulations on setting up your Poshmark closet and listing your first items for sale! After listing your first item, you may start receiving likes on your items. To check how many likes your item has received, simply look at the item. In the top right corner, you will see a heart symbol, and below the heart is a number indicating how many likes the item has received.



However, despite your newly listed item receiving likes, no one has made an offer to purchase the item. If you're determined to sell the item, Poshmark offers a method that might help you turn one of those likers into a true buyer. The method Poshmark offers to entice buyers is allowing sellers to send discount offers on items buyers like from their Poshmark closet.


Poshmark sellers can use the app's feature to make offers to buyers who have liked items from their closet.


To make an offer on Poshmark, follow these steps:


1. Open Your Poshmark App

2. Tap on your icon at the bottom right

3. Scroll down to "My Shoppers" and tap

4. Click on "Add Likes To Bundle"

5. Click the shoppers you want to send offers to

6. Enter the discount you want to send the buyer

7. Send Offer


When making an offer on Poshmark, the buyer has four options. They can accept, deny, or counter your offer. Alternatively, they may choose to ignore your offer, in which case it will expire automatically after 24 hours.


I determine my offer amount based on the type of item. For popular items that receive a lot of engagement, I offer 15% of the asking price. For generic items, I offer 25% of the asking price. And for items that I want to sell quickly, I offer 40% of the asking price. Making offers can be an effective strategy to boost sales on Poshmark because it incentivizes the buyer to make a purchase by offering them a deal.
